Beth Michele is becoming one of my FAVORITE authors.  Her books bring out so many emotions for me.  She gives you a love story, but she also finds away to make you FEEL for her characters and the situations they find themselves in.  I don't just fall in love with her male leads for their "swoon worthiness" or their "sex appeal" and their ability to make you squeeze your legs together because of the feelings they insight (oh believe me they will do that to you), but you fall for them because of the content of their character and the qualities they possess on top of all their hotness.

There were sooooo many things I loved about Lovely, it's hard to write the review without spoilers.  I think Cara may be one of the sweetest book heroines I've ever encountered and this is saying A LOT considering I read at least 3-4 books a week!  I fell in love with her, just as much as I fell in love with Ash. There story is so LOVELY, the title is beyond  fitting to this book.   I don't think Ash could get any more appealing even if he tried.  Who wouldn't fall for a man so devoted to his family, a loving son, a caring and protective brother, and on top of that she makes him SEXY AS SIN, and women continually throw themselves in his path...Ashton is totally the happy ending to ever romance lovers fairytale.

Lovely, is not just a love story, it's a family story, it's a story of finding yourself, it's a story filled with deep emotions, it's a beautiful story of hope.  I totally give Lovely by Beth Michele 5 stars.  It's a book I KNOW I will read again (and again).  Beth Michele you keep writing, and I'll keep reading, I think I'm your #1 fan over here!!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I am a wife, a mom, an author, and a lover of all things chocolate, well, anything sweet really. While stuffing chocolate in my face, I enjoy reading young adult and new adult novels furiously, and spending time with my husband and two adorable children who keep me on my peppermint pink painted toes. Those same children who inspire me to tell silly stories that cause hysterical giggles to tumble from their bellies.

I love to laugh and love to have a good cry, especially after reading a novel that stretches my soul, one that makes me feel, and lingers in the corner of my heart.
I’m a hopeless romantic and a happily ever after fanatic, and I love to write about LOVE.

I began writing when I was in middle school, penning anything from short stories, to poetry, and then later moved on to write children’s books.  I have now endeavored into New Adult and Contemporary Romance novels and am loving every minute of it.  My first novel, Love Love, was released in May, 2013.

I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Let me just get into this. I'm not one to sit and read any book from start to finish in one sitting, novella or not, it just does not happen but when I was asked by the author, who just happens to be one of my favorites (under another Pen Name), I was so excited that I literately could not wait to start reading and then, I could not put the book down!

This is the FIRST book I have ever read that had me saying WTF!! WTFFFFF? Legit! From start to finish, your pulled in as the characters. I'm very picky in what I read and how characters are portrayed. V is her name, she's HOT, SEXY and does whatever she wants with no permission of others! I could not stop reading this book, and I didn't! It was so real, I really could not sit still nor could I get enough!

The sex is something else! WHOA! Hot damn, the book actually turned me on as I read it, NO JOKE! Then, the end hit and I was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!??!!!! Then I wasn't turned on anymore and actually paranoid because it was late at night and I was still "in" the story. (If your a true book lover, you know what I mean).

I will not make this a spoiler review because I want everyone who loves this kind of story to read it. Everyone will have there own opinions about it and I cannot wait to read reviews as they pour in.

This is by far the raunchiest, dirtiest twisted up story EVER, well, that I have ever read! This is brilliantly written. Doing this review was not easy due to the sheer fact of shock that still has not set in! As I write this, I want to read it all over again!

I have said it once and I'll say it again, this author has an AMAZING future ahead of her! Her work is so phenomenal that I cannot express my passion for her writing deep enough!

I highly recommend this book for all of you filthy, twisted, sick bi*ches out there! 5 STARS most definitely but if I could give more, I'd give 20!

 -----------------------------

I have to start this review by saying, this "type" (F/M/F) of book is not normally my cup of tea.  I'm a romance girl at heart. Girl meets boy, boy falls for girl....and the somewhat predictable ensues...I suck that stuff up!!! However that is totally NOT what Kate Lynne brought to the table with USED....How does one describe V? Beautiful Disaster seems to fit her perfectly and she OWNS it.  She is NOT your average book heroine...girl meets boy...girl meets girl...girl does WHATEVER gets girl off! OM-GEEZERS...my head was spinning.

I love all things romance, but reading erotica is definitely one of my dirtiest little secrets.  Kate Lynne brought the DIRTY with USED, without a doubt.  I found myself not wanting to like it, but not being able to stop myself from feeling a tad bit turned on (I will never tell what parts did the turning on!)  I talk non-stop, so to say I'm at a loss of words is saying a lot.   lol

I know I will run the risk of spilling tons of spoilers if I keep going, so I will stop here: This is a SEXY, EROTIC, HEDONISTIC, look up and around to make sure no one is watching you read the dirty parts, book!  If that sounds like your kind of ride, then hop in, Kate Lynne does not disappoint.  There is NOTHING PREDICTABLE about this Novella.  It's a quick read, and a page turner like no other.  I give USED by Kate Lynne 4 stars!!

Delaney Diamond's The Blind Date

BOOK DESCRIPTION

One night changes everything . . . again.

Years ago, when Ryan Stewart saw Shawna Ferguson, it was love at first sight. Unfortunately, he wasn’t a free man, and his deception caused him to lose her after a weekend that changed his life.

When Shawna’s sister and brother-in-law set her up on a blind date, she has no idea it’s with Ryan, with whom she’d spent a weekend she wishes she could forget. She reluctantly agrees to finish the date with him, but doing so leaves her vulnerable to his charms and the heat he ignited in her that very first night.

EXCERPT

Yvonne Wallace looked at Shawna from across the table in the kitchen. They were having breakfast, and as usual, Little Miss Homemaker—as Shawna liked to teasingly call her sister—had set out a feast of homemade raisin bread, butter and homemade jam, scrambled eggs, and fruit cups.

Only two years separated the sisters, but their personalities were as different as black and white. While Shawna had dreamed of opening her own boutique, which she’d accomplished four years ago, Yvonne had dreamed of becoming a wife and mother. At twenty-four she’d married a doctor, and by their second anniversary, she’d quit her job to make that dream a reality. After six years of marriage, they had a four-year-old daughter and two-year-old son, and Yvonne was seven months pregnant with her second son. Taking care of her family and getting ready for the baby filled her days.

Yvonne was one of those people who, because she was happily married, wanted the same for everyone else. She’d found her Mr. Right and claimed he existed for every woman. Shawna knew better. Finding a good man—with whom one was compatible—seemed as unrealistic as finding a diamond mine on her property. Basically, it wasn’t gonna happen, and Shawna had resigned herself to the fact.

Her sister couldn’t seem to understand she was perfectly happy being single, and she kept trying to help Shawna find a man through “chance” meetings and “unexpected” visits when Shawna came to visit her.

When the conversation came up about her paltry dating options, Shawna had a solution. “I’ll hire an escort the next time I need to attend an event with a date.” She shrugged.

“Ew. You will not. No sister of mine is going to pay for a date.”

“There’s nothing nasty about it,” Shawna said. “Lots of women do it nowadays.”

“Desperate women.”

No. Women who don’t have the time or energy to sift through what’s out there. The companies match you up with someone who has similar interests, you go out, and then you’re done. Bam. No fuss, no muss.”

“Why do that when I have the perfect man for you?”

“I’m not looking for a man.”

Yvonne rolled her eyes. “Okay, whatever. I have the perfect escort for you. Is that better?”

“No offense, but you haven’t exactly done a good job setting me up with the right men in the past.” Shawna pretended to be in deep thought. “Let’s see, remember the guy from your church, Steve, who started singing hymns in the car on the ride back home and prayed for my soul as we stood at the front door?”

“He loves the Lord. What’s wrong with that?”

Shawna narrowed her eyes and continued. “David, who wouldn’t stop talking about his ex-wife the entire night. Our date ended with him crying on my shoulder about how much he missed her.”

“Look at the bright side. You got a free meal, and at least you didn’t waste any more time with him than necessary. One date in and you already knew he was wrong for you.”

“And I can’t forget Nolan. Sexy, suave, rich. What a surprise to see his face on the evening news as the person who’d robbed several banks in the area and left lines of poetry as his trademark. Just think, I can say I dated the Poetry Bandit.”

“Granted, I should have dug a little deeper when he said he worked in banking.”

Shawna sighed. “I know you mean well, but your choice in men leaves me a bit . . . how should I say this? Terrified.” Shawna slathered butter on the bread and bit into a crunchy slice.

“This guy could be right for you, though. I really think the two of you will hit it off.”

“How do you know him?”

“So you’re interested?”

“Answer the question.”

“He’s a friend of William’s.”

The fact that he was one of her brother-in-law’s friends meant he was probably better vetted than the men her sister had introduced her to in the past. Interest piqued, she said, “Tell me about him.”

“I thought you weren’t interested.”

“Would you tell me about him!”

Yvonne giggled, cocky in her triumph. “Like I said, William knows him better, but I’ve also met him, and he’s really nice. You’ll like him.”

“What does he look like?”

“He’s about six feet tall. Great personality, really nice guy.”

Shawna watched her sister closely. She seemed evasive, which made Shawna suspicious. “You mentioned nice twice, but not whether or not he’s attractive. Does he have an eye in the middle of his forehead or something?”

Yvonne waved her hand and snorted, as if to say, don’t be ridiculous. “Of course not.”

“Then what does he look like?”

“Don’t worry, he’s attractive. He’s not your usual type, that’s all. So please don’t do that thing you do.”

“What thing?” Shawna asked, already offended.

“You know that thing you do when you’re trying to cover up your surprise or when you don’t like something—you smile, but it’s this weird, creepy smile. Be open-minded.”

“I don’t do that. And why would I need to be open-minded? What’s wrong with him, Yvonne?” Concern started to set in.

“Nothing. But really, I don’t want to spoil the surprise. Trust your big sister on this one, okay?”

Review

Stained is an amazing story by the very talented Elizabeth Marx. This is the first story I have read of hers. I will be forever a fan of hers now. The way she writes is so beautiful and elegant. The flow of the story is amazing; it really brings you into the story and not only read the story, but live and feel it. This story was filled with so many emotions, have some tissues handy while reading.  I love how deep the writing is in this story. There wasn’t one ounce of ‘fluff’ in this story. I loved it!
